Founded in February 1989, ATAREK is considered to be one of the top 30 accounting and business advisory firm in Kuala Lumpur and all parts of Malaysia. Comprehensive all in one professional services is provided such as accounting, audit & assurance, advisory, company secretarial, corporate recovery & insolvency, syariah advisory, tax, payroll, human resource, forensic, accounting software (XER0) and others.
The Situation
ATAREK Group historically had its IT provided by internal support staff. After a strategic review between directors it was understood that internal staff had little direction on the growth of the business. To reduce overhead and streamline operation, TEKIE MY was appointed as a single provider, who would provide a single point of contact for all IT requests and the ongoing management of the IT department.
The Solution
TEKIE’s experience in handling global clients provided direction to the business IT department aligned to business goals. We performed extensive IT audit to identify failure points and available resources. We then provided a proposal to the stakeholders on timeline and milestones.
We worked on resolving legacy issues including redesigning network topology, tagging assets, standardizing OS image and software, and enforcing internal policy to employees. ATAREK Group is continuously growing towards servicing international clients and working remotely.
